Beep Young bank robbers filmed by surveillance

The two boys aged 12 and 13 who have a bank robbery attempt yesterday in a suburb of Tel Aviv are filmed by a surveillance camera.

The images show how the very young robbers arrive at the bank building in Rishon Lezion. One of them wears a backpack and something that looks like a gun. According to police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld boys wore fake M-16 rifles and they shouted, "This is a robbery!" The two drove the bank employees and customers with the wits, but slunk off without booty. They were identified on the basis of surveillance video and last night arrested. Last night they were interrogated, says lawyer Gil Gabay. Gabay does not agree with the way the teenagers are addressed. "I do not think they should be treated as criminals," is his opinion.
